About Chop Chop Cook Shop

Cut through the humid crush of Yaowarat Road and duck straight into Chop Chop Cook Shop—a cool, red-neon sanctuary built inside a former goldsmith shop. Diner booths. Ice-cold air. Bangkok eaters slip inside for the siu mei, zeroing in on roast duck with crisp skin glazed in longan honey alongside tender pork in plum sauce. Savory drunken clams and tomato fried rice anchor the table before footsteps drift up to the second-floor cocktail bar, lined with preserved Art Deco vault keys.

  • Heritage Roast Meats: Thick-cut roast duck glazed with longan honey and five-spice alongside tender char siew served with plum sauce.
  • Upstairs Speakeasy Lounge: A second-floor cocktail bar hidden directly above the dining room for late-night drinks.
  • Wok Specialties & Clams: Plates of savory drunken clams and wok-fried tomato rice favored by regular Chinatown night-crawlers.
  • Chinatown Retro Aesthetic: Art Deco architectural details, vintage goldsmith vault accents, crimson neon, and freezing air conditioning.
